Track the things that actually matter
Logaid is the operational hub for a small or mid-sized machine-heavy business — the machines, the work done to them, the places they go and the people who run them, held together rather than scattered across spreadsheets and three other systems.
Integrations bring data in on their own, and the structure provides flexibility for how you already work — this lets one system suit an excavation contractor, a truck fleet, and a facilities team.
- Schedules that hold their pattern
- Hours, miles and dates together, whichever comes first. The first Wednesday of the month stays the first Wednesday, even when the work gets recorded on the Thursday.
- Running hours you can trust
- A meter that died, was repaired or was swapped still gives one continuous lifetime total. Machines with no meter may optionally accumulate hours from time entries instead.
- Fault codes as episodes, not a firehose
- A light on for three days is one fault that lasted three days, not seventy-two copies of the same code — with the hours and odometer recorded at onset.
- Equipment finds its own job site
- Where your telematics reports position, machines move between yards, shops and sites on their own as they cross your geofences.
- Permissions that follow your tags
- Groups say what people can do; tags narrow what they can see. Limit someone to one yard and they see, edit and inspect only those machines — visibility and ability move together.
- One service plan, any number of machines
- Mirror a manufacturer's PM1/PM2/PM3 ladder, keep a plain list of items, or mix the two in one plan. Put an interval on a tier and correcting it moves every item that follows.
- Inspections crews actually fill out
- Build the form, publish it, schedule it against the machines it applies to. Pass or fail lands on the asset rather than in a folder.
- Issues, from raised to resolved
- Raise a work request against a machine, a site, or neither. Priority, assignees, blocked and unblocked, and a comment thread with photos — kept with the thing it concerns.
- A file library for the business
- Folders and files for the manuals, certificates and site plans the work depends on — uploaded or linked, with browsing and managing as separate permissions. Files also attach to logs, notes and comments.
- Timesheets, only if you want them
- Entirely optional. Time recorded against people and equipment, with approval, submit-only, or no workflow at all.
